
| The Catenary Inspection Vehicle was designed and manufactured in Columbia for TRA which is the National Railway in Taiwan. This machine is the first machine of it kind to be able to measure the location and profile of the overhead catenary wire by non-contact means using lasers and high speed cameras at speeds of up to 100 kph (62 mph). Lasers and high speed cameras are also used measure the track geometry as well. |
